  Cade and Redix just about broke my heart. I was sobbing at points with this poignant love story. I could feel the pain in my heart, wishing for their happily ever after. Laughter, tears, anger, shock, hope, and love are just some of the emotions I went through on my reading journey. A love that spanned time, Cade and Redix are utter perfection. The spicy times are beyond scorching, hot enough to melt the polar ice cap.

  Their love began at an early age, suffered a tragedy in their teenage years, and then resumed ten years later in their late twenties. They have always loved each other through all this heartbreak, never wanting to believe their love didn't survive. When the opportunity is presented for them to reconnect, they must navigate the past carefully while ensuring they don't rock the cart. Candy Cade has always been Redix's one true love. He has proven his love for her time and time again. Now, all he wants is their future or infinity, whichever comes first. Detective Cade is working cases on missing girls that have been ongoing for ten years. She's getting closer to the answers she needs, which could cause a rift between her and Redix.   What a rollercoaster of emotions this book brings - this author sure knows how to pack a punch when it comes to a heartbreaking, soul searching, raw and emotional storyline. I couldn’t put this book down once I started .. the story that is Cade and Redix concludes in book 2 and I am so routing for them ….. an excellent read.

  Finley’s storytelling is nothing short of brilliant.   Did I love Cade and Redix? Yes, I did! But lord did they keep my head on a swivel with all their back and forth!

  It felt like they were magnets fighting against the pull of each other while simultaneously still reaching for one another. When they were good, it was so sweet and loving and spicy as hell but when they were not, it's like you wanted to close your eyes so you wouldn't witness the crash. And also, that weird scene when Cades parents show up just when her anger has finally boiled over and she was ready to risk it all?! Really?

  I was definitely a fan of most of it and will most likely read the next one. A reading experience is good, for me, when you do have questions about what you read.

  I literally could not put this book down and read it in one sitting. Cade and Redix will put you through it! Cade is an incredibly strong woman with heart that continues to love one man no matter how many times he breaks it. Redix is . . . . delicious, has been in love with Cade his entire life, but the past has broken him to the point where he might not be able to come back from it.

  This story has ALL the spice, will drag your emotions through it! It ends on a cliff hanger so do yourself a favor and have book 2 handy.
