I bought this wire to make some custom length wires for a matrix panel project. I have never made my own 16 conductor wires before, so I was initially unsure if I ordered the right products. However, this wire is easy to work with and fits perfectly in the conductors for this type of wire. I would highly recommend this product for custom length 16 conductor ribbon cables.

    I have a Saitek Rhino X-55 HOTAS that ended up with the dreaded throttle cable breaking issue.
    The wires that Saitek used are solid core and way too short for the application, which causes them to break.

    Decided to get these as a replacement and was happy to see these are stranded, which means they should be more durable when flexed repeatedly in the throttle assembly. Plus, I'll have a lot extra for other projects!

    I intended to use an Amphenol cable to connect a 5v controller to a driver, glad i bought this as a backup plan. this ribbon worked fantastic. the Amphenol cable had crosstalk and feedback even when only connected to the controller. If you need to make a long run with control voltage, this is your cable!
