In order to use the adapter with Apple devices, no pairing is required under settings and is also not possible; in order to use the adapter with Android devices, "UniCarScan" must be paired. Open the settings of the Car Scanner or BimmerCode/BimmerLink app directly and select "UniCarScan" adapter there. MotoScan App is not available for iOS devices and is currently not planned.

BimmerCode/BimmerLink are coding/maintenance apps for BMW, MINI and Toyota Supra. These apps are available for iOS (iPhone/iPad) and Android devices.

[BimmerCode]

• BimmerCode allows you to code your BMW, MINI or Toyota Supra yourself, customize it to your needs and unlock hidden features.
• Coding can bring out hidden features such as Video in Motion (TV canceller), Daytime Running Lights (daylight), and Sport Display, or disable the Legal Discriminator and Seatbelt Alarm.
• With the BimmerCode smartphone app and this OBD2 adapter, anyone can easily perform coding.
• BimmerCode has a backup function that allows you to restore the ECU to its original state at any time.
• Please refer to the "Manual" on the official BimmerCode website for information on adapter connection settings, basic coding usage, and how to restore a backup.

[BimmerLink]

• BimmerLink allows you to connect to your BMW, MINI or Toyota Supra and perform professional maintenance such as diagnostics and battery registration easily with a smartphone app.
• BimmerLink is not just a diagnostic app, but also a sub-monitor that displays real-time sensor values, remote control of exhaust flaps, remote control of active sound design, DPF regeneration in diesel vehicles, battery registration required after battery replacement. The BimmerCode also provides a parking brake service mode when repairing or replacing the electric parking brake, and a service reset after maintenance such as oil changes.
• Compatible adapters are the same as BimmerCode.
