    This series by Nina Lane was truly beautiful. Darius and Nell have a love story that transcends everything. I thought I knew what this trilogy would be like before beginning the books, but I was definitely wrong and it was so much more than I ever expected. The plot, characters, setting were so rich and well developed. The story was action packed and it had me desperate to finish each book, just to see where Lane took us next.

    I don't know if I need an anti anxiety medication or a sedative after reading the unbelievably wonderful “Birdsong” trilogy. Honestly I need a week to recover from this story.
