Michael DeAngelo is an author of young adult and new adult fantasy, from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. D’Aprile’s Fools is the latest book in his Tellest universe, a growing brand of fantasy that brings heroes together from around the world, both within the fantasy, and outside of it. Michael’s love of fiction was ignited thanks to a gifted copy of The Thousand Orcs by R.A. Salvatore, and by games like Baldur’s Gate, Final Fantasy, and the Secret of Monkey Island. Michael is also very fond of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

As the creator of Tellest, Michael not only creates dynamic stories featuring diverse casts of characters, but also helps other fantasy authors spread the word about their own stories and expanding worlds.

Michael and his wife, Rhianna DeAngelo, have co-authored the children's book How to Be a Wizard, among other projects. Rhianna is the creator of Wyrd Witch Wands (hand-crafted, one-of-a-kind magic wands) under the Tellest brand. They live with their fur babies, lovingly referred to as the "Tails of Tellest."

I love a good story about dwarves, elves, magic and giants, and this book did not disappoint. I was pulled into their world and torn by the plights of the characters. It was a great read and I can't wait for the next in the series.
