The book explains meditation in many ways. It discusses both simple informal meditations on beauty etc as well as formal meditation techniques on concentration and mindfulness. It talks about the techniques for cleaning out the mind through meditation. Though we all choose different paths according to our culture and traditions, the ultimate desire is the same: happiness of the soul, freedom from the sufferings. About the author

Amit Ray is an enlightened spiritual master in the 114 chakra system, and Om meditation. He is also famous for his contribution on quantum computing and artificial intelligence. He is the pioneer of compassionate artificial intelligence movement. He spent several years in the high peaks of Himalaya for deep meditation. In his Himalayan Centre at Uttarkashi, he lives a life dedicated to meditation and yoga. He teaches Ray 114 chakra meditation and healing system. He is author of several books on meditation, quantum machine learning and other topics.
Amit Ray, did his PhD in artificial intelligence and computational neuroscience. He worked in India, USA and UK for about 15 years. With a spiritual bent of mind from his very childhood, he undertook intense practices in meditation from when he was a child. In his later years, many mystical experiences prompted him to dedicate his life for the search of truth.

Amit Ray gives us simple, practical, effective meditation exercises that will meet us where we are. He gives us many hints and encouragement to reach higher meditative state. The book helped me to look within and realized the deepest aspects of my self. Specially, I liked chapter nine, where it deals with meditation as lifestyle. I love it and highly recommend it! (This is an unbiased book review and the opinions given here are 100% my own.)
