I've just used this once since I just got it, but WOW - this is a work horse that really does the trick. I'll post more if it doesn't hold up the way I think it will, but so far I'm really impressed. The aqua color is beautiful. And yes, read the other reviews and note the SIZE of this blender. It is really big (very, very tall as well) but it also does the work of several things in the kitchen. Makes simple stuff, but can also make peanut butter, hummus, sorbet, ice cream - it's a long list... We are revamping our kitchen so we can build upper cabinets or shelves around the height so it's not a problem for us and I'm happy to accommodate this blender because we will be using it frequently.

Great blender. Its powerful and I haven't found anything that seems to slow it down. Its primary purpose in our house is for making smoothies and shakes but we have used it for a few other purposes as well. Crushing cubed ice in this thing is no problem at all. The shape of the top part seems to do a good job of funneling everything down to the blades as needed. The programmed functions on the selector dial are nice. It is not real quiet but much quieter than the cheapo blender it replaced. Its a heavy item and just feels like its a quality product. Its been in daily use for several months now and definitely meets our expectations. I expect it to last a lot longer than the three blenders that preceded it in my house.

Love this blender, we call it the BEAST. Beware though it is larger than it looks, will not fit on the counter top, under the cabinets with jar sitting atop the motor. And it's not really an issue but the jar section does not unscrew from the blade, it's all one piece which makes it a little tricky to clean and dry. I just lay it on its side untill it dries. Bought this primarily to make frozen drinks. It does a totally awsome job of crushing ice down to Slurpy consistency. No small chunks of ice getting stuck in your straw, absoultely amazing blender. I was a bit concerned about the jar being plastic and not glass, don't be, the jar is still beautifully clear and without a scratch after batches and batches of ice being pulverized. So worth every penny. Got tired of buying a new blender every six months. We use this at least three times a week, and on weekends with company it gets used mulitple times. If you are tired of buying blenders give this one a try, it will probably be the last one you buy. I highly recommend.

Since going vegan, I make a lot of homemade flours, smoothies, nut butters, et. I have a Ninja, but wanted something larger. So far this blender has been great and I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to do more homemade food.

I bought my blender when it was $149, what a great deal! It makes everything to just the right consistency. I love the fact I can make dinner, yummy homemade healthy soup, in 8 minutes and pour it HOT right out of the blender. I think the people who spend over $400 for the exact same blender (Vitamix) should ask for a refund. The blender IS large and heavy, but it looks nice on your counter. I have a matching red Kuerig coffee maker so it all blends in. It's really easy to clean, you can "wash" it with water before taking it off to help make cleaner quicker and easier as well. My daughter loves making her smoothies. She was so excited when I bought it, it was like getting a new car for her! We've had it for several months now and I have absolutely no complaints or regrets. I recommend this blender to anyone wanting a really strong, useful and reliable product.

This machine is a huge step up from a Ninja and worth the extra money when compared to the Ninja. I have never been able to bring myself to even consider spending $500+ on a blender. It's not something I use often enough to justify the cost. Dash is a great balance of price/performance.

It's simplistic design makes it easy to use and easy to clean. The Ninja has always annoyed me with how the lid has to go on the exact right way and having the blades detached. None of these issues exist on the Dash. The Dash's design is simple yet elegant. It is a fairly sizable piece of equipment to have on your countertop everyday, but the performance far outweighs any concern I have.

I have recommended this blender to many of my friends. Everyone who has bought one has been extremely pleased with it.

Great product. I use my Dash blender to make smoothies mostly. It will handle raw carrots and frozen fruit as well as walnuts and almonds. The automated smoothie setting is excellent. It runs up to high and stops a second then repeats cycling for 50 seconds then auto stops. This get all the chuncks and large peices as they fall back to the blades during pauses. My only complaint about the system was it had a strong electrical smell from the motor especially under heavy loads when it was new. This became less noticeable as the machine aged and is not noticeable now after two years of use. To your good health!

I am so disappointed with this blender. I purchased in November of 2014. I used it moderately. Made soups a few times. Milkshakes a handful of times. And, morning smoothies a few times a month. So, all in, I probably used it 3-4 times a month. It worked well. But, it was extremely loud, which I am willing to overlook. But, a year and half after purchase, it is inoperable. It now smokes everytime I use it. It is coming from where the blender connects to the base. I am guessing the gears have been worn so it no longer has a tight fit. So, it is spinning and creating friction. I could get that from a less expensive blender at Target. Will not buy again.

I LOVE MY BLENDER! It is a lot bigger than I had anticipated but honestly I love it! It’s chic and does the job very well. It blends quickly and smoothly. As of now I have only made smoothies or soups but I have had great result. I do wish it was quieter but I am very happy with it. Super easy mechanics and simple to clean when you pre rinse.

Love the design! So easy to use. Nice large container. Great self rinsing and cleaning feature. Blends perfectly. Simply beautiful!

Please note that this has no baring on the functionally of the blender, but more on the size of it.

This blender is truly big. It's not suited for a small kitchen. On the counter it was taller than my 5'2" wife. It won't go under any counter...

I also found the buttons a bit confusing and flashy, but I guess with time I would've got used to it.....
