Grrrr

OK. I am very, very aggravated:

I read LJ a lot. Nearly every day. As I said in my first post - I read LJs of authors I like - but I don't friend them, necessarily, because I bookmark them and read their journals that way.

I'm the quiet type. I don't want to tell the world about my day - and I don't think I should have to - in order to join communities where I'm hoping to download a TV show that I cannot get where I live!

So I've not bothered to attempt to join communities where the mod(s) demand I post regularly in my LJ (Hello? It's MY LJ!!), much as I would like to - I'm polite and don't waste their time because I know they'll not accept my membership. Not that I think it's very nice if I do ask for membership and am ignored completely - not even a 'sorry, your request for membership has not been accepted'...

What has prompted me to post is the fact that my membership has been revoked from a community I had membership in previously - where I downloaded (always with comments! because I'm polite!) some of these lovely TV shows which I cannot get here. I admit that this upset me a lot.

Of course, by posting, I'm playing into their demands, which does go against the grain...but I need to get this off my chest. There. I feel better now.

Back to lurking.

I won't be posting much. I have this journal for the express purpose of keeping up with my favourite authors.
