1. Crop your picture. I use the free transform tool (ctrl t). Hold down shift or click the link at the top so it resizes evenly. Duplicate your base and set it to screen at 50% and filter > sharpen.

2. Add some selective coloring (layer > new adjustment layer > selective color)
Reds
Cyan: -60
Yellow: +31
Black: +5

Yellows
Cyan: -50
Yellow: -16

A lot of these have been sitting in photobucket bugging me, so I thought I'd make a post. A few simple wallpapers too, nothing very fancy. Fixed up the community profile, it looks a lot cleaner :)

Robert Pattinson Mood Theme

132 color images, I don't think there are any repeats.

How to:
These are instructions for the Custom Mood Theme Editor.

1. Download the .zip file and unzip it (use winzip or a similar program)

2. Upload the 132 images to a host (photobucket works great). Leave the file names the way they are.

3. Now go here. Under 'Create a New Theme' where it says 'Name' type in your description. (ex: robert pattinson) then hit create.

4. You need the URL for the images you uploaded (photobucket). Enter the correct URL for each mood. Make sure the height and width are correct (100 by 50). When you are finished, click "save changes"

5. Go back to the mood theme editor. Your mood should be saved in your list of themes. To use the theme click the "Use" button.

1. I always make a new 100x100 file and paste my cap into it. I use the free transform tool (edit->free transform) to resize exactly how I want it. Remember to hold down shift or click on the little link at the top so the picture resizes evenly.

Once you have your base ready, duplicate it and set it to soft light at 60%. Duplicate that again and set it to screen at 90%.

2. Flatten your layers (layer -> flatten image). This cap is really blue, so go to Image->Adjustments->Variations. Set it on Midtones. Click on the original picture, then click on more yellow once, then more red, darker and then lighter. Its gives it more of a natural looking color.

3. Next, add some selective coloring. (layer->new adjustment layer->selective color).
Reds:
Cyan -100
Magenta +2
Yellow +65
Black +12

Yellows:
Cyan +5
Magenta +5
Yellow +20
Black +8

Whites:
Yellow -52
Black -32

Neutrals:
Cyan +4
Magenta -3
Yellow +7
Black -8

Blacks:
Black +20

4. Add a curves layer (layer->new adjustment layer->curves).

I made this theme for fun in a couple of days. Lots and lots of pretty pictures :P I hope you guys like it!

Tutorial #1

This was sort of an experiment icon, so it might be a little confusing translated. Hopefully it makes some sense lol

to

picture.

1. Resize your image to 100x100. I usually go to edit > free trasform >hold down the shift key and drag a corner until it's placed and fits properly.

2. Duplicate your base and set it to screen (opacity at 80%). Make a new selective color layer and use these settings:
reds: cyan -100 and yellow to +100
yellows: cyan -70 magenta -16 yellow +40 black -22

3. Make another selective color layer and use these settings:
reds: cyan -63 magenta +10 yellow +24 black -15
yellow: cyan +9 magenta -10 yellow -24 black -8
to

4. Make a new curves layer and set it like this for RGB and this for Blue.

5. Since there is scenery in the background and we want it solid black, make a new layer, take your paintbrush tool and color in the background.

to

6. Next there is this texture by dearest placed over the image and set to hard light. I moved the texture over to the right a bit because part of it was covering up his face. Take your eraser tool and erase the part of the texture over his face and hair.

7. Make a new selective color layer and set it to
yellows: cyan +4 magenta +10 yellow +40 black -10
greens: cyan -100 magenta +100 black +20
neutrals: cyan -2 magenta -2 yellow +5 black -6

Merge your layers. We're going to resize the image so go to edit > free transform (remember to double click on that layer to unlock it) hold down shift or click that little link button at the top of the tool bar so everything resizes equally. Make a new layer and set the background color to black.

8. For the last part I selected the top part of the texture with the rectangular marquee tool, copied it and pasted it. Then I went edit > free transform and flipped the image upside down and moved it to the bottom of the image.
