About this Component

Comments Component is for implementing the Comments(WordPress/Facebook/Disqus/Vuukle/Spot.IM) on your AMP theme.

How to use:

Following are the steps to implement this component. Step 1: To initiate the support for the component in your theme just add the following code to the functions.php of the theme files.

// Comments
add_amp_theme_support('AMP-comments');

This was the back-end part where we’ve just initiated, now to make it appear in the front-end follow the next step. Step 2: To display the Comments box we need to call it where we wanted to display it. example: add the following code in single.php of the theme files.

<?php amp_comments();?>

The final step would be to select which comments you want to show. You can enable them from Comments section of AMP Options Panel.

with this, you’re successfully able to show Comments on your theme.
