I am making this a PUBLIC ENTRY because it CANNOT be ignored.
I don't care who you are. Black, white. Young, old. Liberal, conservative.
This is an INJUSTICE. It's disgusting. It's a violaiton of fundamental human rights. The right to simply live.
I will let the Invisible Children website and full-length movie speak for themselves.
An hour ago, I knew nothing of the war- the holocaust- in Uganda. I knew nothing of the millions of people that have been lost in the past 20 years. Of the thousands of children that must spend every night sleeping in dishevelled buildings together to avoid being kidnapped and forced to kill, or being killed themselves.
Spare an hour and watch the movie. Or at least read about what's happening. That is all I ask. Then you can go back to your life.
Damn right I'm embarrassed.
