While I did vow to write here more often, life and work got the best of me!

I wanted to write a little update on what’s been going on over here in the studio — a lot of really fun projects and not a whole lot of down time (which is always good)!

Sister’s Body Collaboration

Firstly, earlier this year I worked on a print collaboration with Sister’s Body, a company I have admired for a long time — a set of sisters making a difference in the world with their hair and body - microbiome lovin’ - products, alongside their other work in midwifery, women’s health and more. When I get bogged down about all that seems to be on the line for women and health, I cherish companies like this who have a mission that’s so pure and proactive.

Other Updates

I’ve found that leaning into my niche, working with creative entrepreneurs, has been really beneficial to my business growth this year. While I was scared to ‘limit myself’ I think ultimately when you focus your energy on what’s working, you can see what doesn’t fit and leave it behind. The only thing I’ve learned to be tried and true with growing a business is to ‘just do the work’ and not wait for circumstances to be perfect.

A big push of mine was to work in the food and beverage world more and dive into more packaging projects. I love the ability to not only design the look and feel of a brand, but to create take-aways and help build spaces. I got a taste of doing that for the Germantown Laundromat, and Briar as well as some other brands in the past, and this year was able to explore even more with about 6 projects in that realm!

What’s upcoming? An ice cream shop in NH, a bakery in Maine, an olive oil company, a local wine bar in Burlington, a boutique hotel in Jamaica, VT, a prosecco label and more… here are some sneak peeks of some of that work.
