MY LIVEJOURNAL TURNED FIVE TODAY.

I can't believe it's been five years already. Oh my god, I'm getting old. So THANK YOU to everyone who stuck with me from the very beginning and put up with my teenage ramblings — I really mean it, I have some very old entries turned private because it was quite embarrassing, yet slightly entertaining! And of course to everyone I became friends with during all those years. You guys mean a lot to me and I wouldn't wanna miss a single person, thank you! ♥

How are you all doing?

I got back from my holidays a few days ago. Spent one week in Potsdam and another week at my parents. Eventful two weeks. I am now in the middle of organising my term abroad. ONE MONTH UNTIL I'M LEAVING. It's quite stressful and there's so much to think of. I still haven't booked a flight and I just hope everything works out with my student accommodation and loan — otherwise I'm pretty screwed.
My mum and brother already booked their flights to come and visit me in Glasgow sometime in October. Sadly my dad won't join them. I'm a bit disappointed but whatever.

Skins! I miss it a lot. I might even do a tiny re-watch tonight, sigh. Naomi/Emily cuteness on my shiny TV = HEAVEN. However, the new cast was announced a few days ago. Whohoo! It might be the Lily Loveless effect but so far no one really piqued my interest. Idk, the boys look rather ~~unattractive~~ boring and the girls don’t really do it for me either. I know I know ... don't judge a book by its cover, ahem. I guess we have to wait and see.

Went to see Inception last week, it was mind-blowing! I loved every minute of it. And The Karate Kid two weeks ago. Great film. Jaden Smith is adorable :D We also rented Sherlock Holmes on DVD the other day. Holmes/Watson = UNF! ♥ Plus, Robert Downey Jr. as Sherlock Holmes was INCREDIBLY hot. During the film I suddenly craved SHERLOCK/SNAPE fanfic. IDEK WHERE THIS CAME FROM BUT IMAGINE THE SNARK. OH MY.
TV-wise I'm only watching Rizzoli & Isles and The Real L Word at the moment. Anyone else watching it?

Oh, I have a new mood theme! AN ANIMATED NAOMI/EMILY ONE. It's so precious ♥ And I have a new userinfo banner, too. AND OH MY GOD IS IT BAD THAT I REALLY WANT THIS TATTOO? LIKE A LOT. NGHHH.

This was by far (and I've been to quite a few concerts) my FAVOURITE CONCERT EVER. Everything was just simply amazing. From the stage settings to the dancers (there was this blonde chick and I flailed a bit, ngl!) to Lady Gaga herself. Whoever said she can't sing has clearly never been to one of her concerts. This woman sounds incredible live! And her playing the piano = perfection. ♥ There were several moments during the concert where I nearly started to cry because it was so overwhelming — I'm such a sap sometimes.

I had university till 6PM and was so scared I'm not going to make it in time but I did. And I was stood 1st row, fuck yeah! To the left a bit but it was still 1st row and I had a good view on the stage. I was pleased :D She started off with Dance In The Dark (which I thought I filmed, but turns out I held my camera for nothing because I forgot to press play lol), followed by Glitter and Grease and Just Dance.

One thing I loved was how happy she looked in between songs. She would pause and genuinely smile at the audience. It was so beautiful to watch. Like she didn't even fully realise that all those people came to see her. She also thanked us more than once for buying a ticket and coming to see the show. At one point she nearly started to cry because the audience didn't stop cheering and applauding ♥

It went on with Beautiful Dirty Rich, Vanity, The Fame, LoveGame and BoysBoysBoys. The last one, according to Gaga: "for the gays, so they have something to look at" and damn there were some really good-looking boys on stage.

Before LoveGame they changed the stage set to some kind of New York underground theme. I think they had four or five different stage sets in total. It really felt more like a musical instead of a concert. With all the effort they put into the show. MoneyHoney and Telephone followed. And let me just say: Telephone = brilliant! And the dancers again, swoon. Especially the blonde girl! Hearts in my eyes. *_*

Next were Brown Eyes and Speechless. And if you weren't amazed by her voice till then you definitely were after those songs. DAMN, that was just mind-blowing. ♥ During Speechless flames started to come out of the piano — it was perfect. Such a beautiful scenery. Oh, and Gaga playing the piano with her heels? GENIUS! I think she then said "I'm like Tinkerbell. Without applause, I die" and how she doesn't need a vacation and would rather die on stage than next to a fucking palm tree and then launched into, who would have thought, So Happy I Could Die. :D

I really loved the videos they played while Gaga was changing costumes and/or they changed the stage set for the umpteenth time. There now was a huge monster on stage and Monster was played, obviously! After killing the monster Gaga went on with Teeth and Alejandro.

In order to kill the monster we had to take out our cameras and take a picture. That's what Gaga said, ahem.

This was during Teeth and she was right in front of me. You can't really see it in the picture but she was THIS CLOSE.

She then went off stage but came back for Poker Face and Paparazzi. Went off stage again and came back for the final performance: Bad Romance which was absolutely FANTASTIC. The crowd went mad, honestly. She then said "I love you" in German and thanked her little monsters for coming and was gone. NOOO! :(

In conclusion: THIS WOMAN IS INCREDIBLE! It is definitely one of my favourites, if not THE FAVOURITE concert. Totally worth the 80€ I had to pay for the ticket. I even thought about going to see her in Oberhausen at the end of May because they still have tickets left but decided against it. Money money money :(

Just wanted to tell you I won't be around for the next few weeks. My laptop died a week ago and I'm now without one (lol obviously!). Idk how long it takes them to repair it but the guy said something between 2-4 weeks.
I'm not completely gone because I still have my iTouch but but but ... jsyk.

And I won't be able to watch Skins for at least 3 weeks. MAJOR!FAIL. That annoys me the most tbh lol

But I passed my mathematics exam! Whoot! No more maths for me, like EVER. I'm so smart, haha I wish.

God, I am so bad at updating. FOUR WEEKS! It's not that I don't have anything to tell but writing an entry always takes me ages because I keep checking everything a gazillion times (OCD much?) and never know how to start, lol.

We went to see Placebo last night and it was SIMPLY MIND-BLOWING! ♥ Definitely worth the 52€ we had to pay for one ticket.

Brian Molko! UNF UNF. I wouldn't mind him taking me home, ahem. And Steve ♥ I didn't get to see him most of the time because even though we were 2nd row my view was blocked by a huge black box (we were standing a bit on the left side) but I got to see him for the last ~45 minutes (when he also decided to take his shirt off, hmm!) because people in front of us a) fainted and had to get carried away or b) left and never came back.

They played nearly 2 hours (setlist, if anyone's interested) and came back TWICE. After they finished playing 'Breathe Underwater' Brian went all "That was Rock and Roll, now we are playing Rock and Gay!" in German <333 And then they played a semi-acoustic version of Because I Want You. SO BEAUTIFUL ♥

As you can see I will be on another hiatus starting tomorrow because I am going on vacation till the end of July, yay! I don't know when I will be back from hiatus because I have lots of things planned during my holidays and I honestly don't know when I have the chance or time to be online (but if the weather stays like that I'll be back sooner than later).

However, I think I will definitely be back around mid-August, whohoo! :D
As always it would be awesome if you wouldn't de-friend me — but that is totally up to you, of course aha!

I'm nearly done with all my exams, only one left on Thursday: MATHEMATICS!
This is going to be the death of me (like most of the exams I already wrote, lol). My exam results for this semester will be hideous. If I'm lucky I will pass two out of six (actually seven but I'm going to write that exam next year — due to my nonexistent knowledge in this course). Fun times!

And on Thursday night we will go out and party, omg so excited! I haven't been out partying in way too long (not counting going to concerts because it's not partying, obviously haha). Yes, really looking forward to it. :D

I saw the ITV Harry Potter HBP: Behind the Magic special today (because I missed the German one yesterday) and it was amazing! Unless a lot of people I haven't been in a Harry Potter mood at all. But after watching that special on ITV I am now all excited for the movie. The Half-Blood Prince has been my favourite Harry Potter book so here is hoping that it'll be amazing. Who else is looking forward to the movie? Raise your hand!

Then, thank you very much again to everyone who suggested hotels/restaurants/pubs/sights/... in my London entry. You guys are way too awesome, thank you ♥ I booked our hotel room last week (it's near King's Cross, yay!) and am now planning our three days in London. I am so excited already, whee! And apparently John Barrowman (Torchwood) will be in some sort of musical called La Cage Aux Folles from September 13 thru Mid-November. Guess who will arrive in London on September 14? HELL TO THE YES ME! :D I already told my Mum and she didn't seem to mind; she was actually rather excited as well, idek!

And because an entry without talking about the Prescott twins (or Lily Loveless) is no real entry: small things like Kat Prescott waving at me can make me die of happiness! I'm very easy to please sometimes, happy!sigh :D I love Meg's smile, too. Aw, they are both too adorable for this planet ♥

I'm devastated. First, I ripped and capped my Skins S3 DVDs to post them over at distractiions. But someone beat me to it last minute and I decided not to post my caps in the end because it'd suck somehow and I'd feel weird, idk.

So I moved on and decided to make an animated mood theme (about Skins obviously, because it's addictive ♥). Just to find out that someone posted an animated Skins S3 mood theme today. TODAY! :( It wouldn't be so tragic if I hadn't spent my last 4 days finding scenes, capping said scenes and already making some moods.
I mean, I know that I could post it anyway. But there's always this 'fear' that people might think I stole that other person's idea. Because let's face it: graphic-making is SRS BSNS, YO!

It probably shouldn't affect me that much but I just wanna cry now.
I think I'll eat a cookie instead.

I'm stuck at university since ten and have to wait another hour till some presentation about my semester abroad starts. And the waiting is boring -- I wanted to go out shopping but it's raining like crazy, ugh. :/

And because all people around me seem to work (idek wtf? we didn't get any coursework o__Ô) I'd like to do something ~productive, too.

Any kind, it doesn't matter as long as they have a rather ~epic layout and are good to browse. Well ok, probably no sex websites and stuff like that because our task is to present an already existing website in our designing class.
I thought of Katy Perry's website because I think it's rather beautiful. But my friend doesn't like her, hmm.
