Rise of Skywalker in unposted tweets

Yes, I return to Dreamwidth once again to post things I cannot ethically tweet.

I can't be fucked to formulate an opinion about this movie - I enjoyed it, more or less - so instead here are tweets that I absolutely would have made were I watching this three months from now in my living room.

* I think that JJ Abrams muttered "no homo" three times in front of a mirror and a vision of Poe flirting with a girl in a catsuit and yesterday's eyeliner came to him that night
* The best part of the movie was when the dream of Kylo/Hux shippers unceremoniously died with Hux
* that is absolutely Dominic Monaghan and frankly I would have considered it a coup for queer representation had the split-second gay kiss been him kissing Billy Boyd.
* never had my heart sunk so deeply nor been uplifted so fast as when Reylo shippers cried out in joy and were suddenly silenced
