Responsible Tech Guide!
Plus an upcoming livestream, summit, and Trust & Safety gathering
đToday is a big day here at All Tech Is Human, as we are releasing the Responsible Tech Guide 2025. First released in 2020, the Responsible Tech Guide continues to play a central role in catalyzing the Responsible Tech movement, illuminating pathways for thousands of new voices, acting as a connective tissue for our community, and creating a more cohesive ecosystem. It provides valuable insight into the state of Responsible Tech and, more importantly, where we are headed. Read it over and share with others!
We also hope that youâll participate in our livestream on October 9 and listen to Reid Blackman interview ATIH Founder & President David Ryan Polgar for his Ethical Machines podcast, recorded live at our recent Responsible Tech Mixer.
For in-person gatherings, weâve partnered with Cornell Tech in NYC for a candid conversation about working in Trust & Safety, and we continue to announce new speakers for our upcoming Responsible Tech Summit on October 27. Weâre also busy mapping out gatherings, workshops, and resources for 2026âso reach out with your ideas!

The theme for the Responsible Tech Guide 2025 is: our tech future happens by us, not to us. We highlight the essential role of Agency in tackling thorny tech & society issues and ensuring that our tech future is aligned with the public interest, along with the intersections between Responsible AI, Trust & Safety, and Public Interest Technology.
This yearâs Responsible Tech Guide covers:
The State of Responsible Tech
Pathways and Pipelines
Intersections & Considerations
Ways to Get Involved
Youâll also read profile interviews from Alexios Mantzarlis (Director - Security, Trust, and Safety Initiative at Cornell Tech), Alice Hunsberger (Head of Trust & Safety at Musubi), Camille Stewart Gloster (CEO of CAS Strategies), Divya Siddarth (Founder & Exec Director at The Collective Intelligence Project), Francesca Bosco (Chief Strategy Officer at CyberPeace Institute), Kathy Pham (VP AI, Workday; Faculty & Senior Fellow, Harvard; Founding Member, USDS), and Vilas Dhar (President at the Patrick J. McGovern Foundation).
