Whew, taking a break from report cards. Almost finished them now, yay. All the academic comments are in now and all I have to do is add a work habit comment for each student.

Arrived home today to find a tall, thin, square package lodged in my screen door. I had a pretty good idea where it came from. About six weeks ago I got a mysterious e-mail from Dave Clement in Winnipeg asking me to send him my mailing address because he had something to send me. Curiosity piqued, I sent him my mailing address. Sure enough, when I looked at the mailing label today the package was from Dave. I tore into the oddly-shaped package right away and pulled out several crumpled up sheets of newspaper. Inside there were several rolled up posters. When I pulled them out I laughed because Dave had sent me four gigantic "Fellowship of the Ring" posters, advertisements from the Future Shop used to promote the new DVD. Rolling them out I realized these things are -huge-, the kind of posters that would have hung in the windows in the front of the store. They're about the size of a door and I think that's what I may do with one of them, hang it on the back of my office door, probably the Aragorn poster :). John was immediately intrigued with the Orc poster, so he walked away with that one leaving me quite content with my Frodo, Gandalf and Aragorn posters.

Dave is just the coolest friend :). Wish he lived closer to Toronto.
