Plugged In

Looks like I'm going to have access to the Internet from Deb's place, so I'll be able to post mini Torcon reports.

I arrived at the Royal York about 8:30 tonight and linked up with Jodi, Paul and Tom Jeffers. Stood in line for my registration for the better part of an hour. Paul made himself a hero by bringing Jodi and me Tim Horton's coffee in line. Saw a bit of the filk coffeehouse and then saw Spider Robinson's concert. Went back to Paul's room to practice for his concert and talk beads with Lissa, Mary Crowell and Kathleen Sloan.

See Deb's journal at http://www.electricpenguin.com/blatherings/archives/002007.html#002007 for a photo of us practising in Paul's room.

Came back to Debbie's place and ate strawberry yogurt and wrote this journal entry. Life is exciting, eh? Tomorrow morning Urban Tapestry is participating in a children's concert. We also have a folk circle and a space filk panel we're involved in tomorrow night.

The con is off to a fine start.
