Rockwood Conservation Area
I sadly had to bow out of Phil and Jane's filk today :(. My ear's been bothering me and I'm having it checked on Monday. Still noisy environments (Like filks! :)) are a little hard for me to hear in at the moment.
John and I drove up to Rockwood Conservation Area near Orangeville yesterday. Beautiful day- lovely park. The park is well-named because it's the cliffs and caves and trees and water that are so peaceful and beautiful. There's also the ruins of an old mill that always makes for photogenic moments.

Here's the first time I was ever in Rockwood Conservation Area. UT had been invited by Mark Osier to come and sing at an SCA event. This was sometime in the late nineties- Mark was still in Rochester at the time. Deb, Jodi and I are all wearing flower crowns Paul Kwinn had bought for us at an Ontario Renaissance Festival earlier in the year.
