Sheilagh's Birthday, Brave and a QUESTION
Beautiful weekend just past and we had a good time.
We drove up through Burlington and stopped at Rattlesnake Point for a hike. Gorgeous escarpment scenery and we watched members of a Scout troop learning how to rapel down the cliffs.
We went to Hamilton to celebrate my sister Sheilagh's 50th birthday! There was opening of presents and blowing bubbles and Chinese food and chocolate cake. Oh, and the admiring of playful new kittens, of course.
Sunday morning I found a package of Canadiana charms and some bronze chain, so I made myself a Canadiana necklace to wear during the Canadian Invasion concert at ConCertino near Boston next weekend!
In the afternoon John and I went to see "Brave", which I had been looking forward to for quite some time. Gorgeous, gorgeous animation, stirring Celtic-y music and a lot of fun characters.
I want to go hiking in Scotland.
