Rough Day
Scary day today. John had to be taken to the hospital with extreme muscle cramps and difficulty breathing. Turns out he had a collapsed lung :(. The doctors performed a procedure on him very quickly and he's turned the corner and seems much better.
He's in the hospital tonight and will be seen by a thorax specialist on Monday. When I dropped a bunch of things off for him at 6 tonight he seemed in good spirits, more comfortable and more able to move around than earlier in the day. He was also hungry, which I take as a good sign.
My dad has come up from Hamilton to stay with me for the first day or two, so we ate Chinese food tonight and we'll hit the grocery store and the farmer's market tomorrow before going to visit with John again. Two of John's sisters are coming from out-of-town to visit him tomorrow, too.
Pretty exhausted right now... off to sleep.
