Scenery Shots from up North
I especially love the landscape up around Georgian Bay, Lake Muskoka and Lake Rosseau, which is where I was cottaging last week. The Canadian Shield rocks, the blue lakes, the rich evergreens, it's all so rustic and beautiful and it really does always make you feel like you've stepped into a Group of Seven painting. It all stirs the blood enough to make you fully understand where the inspiration for those paintings comes from.
So one more post of photos from my trip up north last week.

A few shots I took of the Shadow River while my friends were off kayaking:



Two days later we took the motorboat out onto Lake Rosseau. It had been raining earlier in the morning, which made for interesting skies to go with the water, rock and trees:
