Exploring the Seaton Trail
John and I have walked parts of the Seaton Trail on the Oak Ridges Moraine in Pickering before, but yesterday we walked a part of the trail that was new to us. It was -gorgeous-. The trail starts level with a small river, but as the trail slopes up along the moraine more and more you can see the river valley open up below you. So pretty!
The trail itself winds through the woods and it's lush and beautful, too. I especially loved all the wild ferns (see photo!).
We walked 7 km. yesterday and we still have parts of the Seaton Trail to explore. We'll be going back later this summer, for sure.
