X-Men Questions
John and I just got back from seeing the new X-Men movie and we liked it a lot. We have a few questions, though, for fans of the comic books about how much of this was canon.
So the part where Mystique is taken in by Charles and grows up as his sister, is that canon to the comics?
And the scene where Charles is shot accidentally by the agent and ends up in the wheelchair, is that how it happened in the comics as well?
Also, we're assuming that the X-Men comic has probably been rebooted a handful of times through the decades, so there may be more than one answer to questions like these.
I have a couple of X-Men anthologies sitting on the shelf from when the first X-Men movies first came out. Time to pull them out and read them again, I think.
