Celebrating the Great White North
Happy Canada Day, everyone! Even if you're not a Canadian do raise a beer and eat a maple leaf cookie in our honour, eh? And don't forget to sing "O Canada"!

Also a very special hug and smooch for my husband, John, today, who has been raised all his life being told that the fireworks going off across the country on July 1st are all for his birthday :).
We're going to go hiking somewhere in the morning, probably up near Bolton. After that we're going to meet my sister, Sheilagh, at The Mandarin to celebrate both John and Sheilagh's birthdays (Sheilagh's birthday was last week).
Now I have to go find my Molson's "I Am Canadian!" t-shirt to wear tomorrow.
Let's end with a poll here: When you think of Canada, what do you think of? Those of you from out of country, have you visited here? Where? What did you do? What memories do you have?
