Assorted Natter and a TV QUESTION

It's a short school week, yay. Well, short for the kids, anyway- Friday is a PA Day. Thursday is Curriculum Night so I'll be meeting all the parents and presenting all the nifty things we'll be doing in Gr. 5 this year. Tomorrow we start Gr. 4-8 training in Cross-Country Running. I'll be helping to organize that about three lunch-hours a week for the next four weeks. Prep has already started, too for Christmas events- music, drama, dance. We're hoping to be rolling with that by early October. Busy, busy.

Four days 'til UT goes to Rochester. I've got to get out and get some American money this week.

Read today that Jim Broadbent has been cast to play Horace Slughorn in the sixth Harry Potter movie. That is such great casting :). Time is running out for those veteran classic character actors to get in on the HP films...

Watched the Emmys last night. They were long and not terribly exciting. I was glad to see Terry O'Quinn win for "Lost" and America Ferrera win for "Ugly Betty". Best Comedy for "30 Rock" was as surprising as Best Drama "The Sopranos" was not. Must actually try watching "30 Rock" this season being that most of my favorite shows (Lost, Battlestar Galactica, Doctor Who) won't be back until 2008. I'll still be watching "Heroes" and "Ugly Betty" this season, though.

QUESTION:

So what shows will you still be watching regularly this TV season? Any of the new shows coming on spark your interest at all?
