Owen Sound
Hello! I'm writing from Owen Sound, where John and I have been having lots of fun hiking and looking at waterfalls.
Cooler still, I'm writing in my hotel room on MY OWN NEW LAPTOP COMPUTER. Yes, indeed, the Sony laptop I had bonded with, that I couldn't find anywhere in the Toronto area, was found in a local Staples here in Owen Sound that John and I decided to check on a whim on our way back to the hotel from Wiarton today. I couldn't believe my luck, so I bought it on the spot and then found I had free Internet in my room and managed to find my way here. Yay, pretty little black Sony with copper trim! Now I just have to learn how to use it.
John and I will be wending our way home tomorrow, but I will be very scarse on the Internet until the weekend. Rumours of leaked copies of the Harry Potter book have even made the TV news now and I'm still working very hard not to be spoiled before reading it after picking it up Friday at midnight. I will answer
a couple crucial e-mails and I'll be working to put a bunch of trip photos up on Flickr, but beyond that I'll be avoiding anything on-line 'til I've read the book.
Now John and I are going to drive to Hibou Conservation Area to watch the sun set over Georgian Bay :).
