Bits and Pieces
- Report cards, report cards, report cards... working, working, working... I can see the light at the end of the tunnel, though. Report cards should be finished tonight!
- I'm making stuffed peppers in my crockpot today- yay. I'm a bit sentimental about stuffed peppers because it was the very first home-cooked meal I ever made for John all those years back. Sadly for John, I've rarely made them since :). Maybe the crockpot will continue to change those habits.
- Continuing to watch "Blake's 7", though report cards have taken up much of my time recently. I've finished up to episode four.
autographedcat told me not to get comfortable with the series until episode 6, so I will write a post of my early observations when I get to the end of episode 6, starting with the scary 70's haircuts and Jenna's scary 70's outfit :). (Avon is presently my favorite character- he gets all the best lines. If this series had been made in today's era I could so see him played by Alan Rickman.)
- I'm going to borrow a keyboard from school this Friday to continue my self-taught piano lessons during the summer. As expected, the rolling keyboard could only get me so far since it doesn't actually have the touch of a keyboard. Having a real keyboard should help me decide if I want to invest in a keyboard of my own. Should be a fun summer project.
(Aside: How come they make the "restless" LJ emotion icon crying? One can be restless without really being that sad.)
