Toronto Hike?
Torontonians, sing out to me.
We are taking our two Gr. 5 classes to Queen's Park tomorrow for a tour and then over to the park for a picnic lunch.
After that we would like to take them on a 30 minute linear hike to see some interesting sights to write articles about when they get back to school.
Starting at Queen's Park, what are some interesting sights that we could pass by for the students to see tomorrow? Again, our walk will be about thirty minutes and the school bus will pick us up on the far end of the hike.
Also, we'd like to pick up some popsicles or freezies to give the students at the end of the hike. Can you recommend a grocery store or bulk food store in the Queen's Park area that we could end our tour at where I can run in and buy 60 popsicles fast?
Thanks for any help you can give me!
