Highlander
So, John and I have rented the DVD of the original movie "Highlander" to watch tonight. I've never seen it, though I know it's always been a fan favorite. John's seen it and he was the one who encouraged me to watch it tonight. I'd kept away from it in the past because I heard it was quite violent, but John says if I can handle watching DVDs of HBO's "Rome", "Highlander" should be no problem :). I am curious to see it.
Those of you who have seen it, without major spoilers, what did you think of it?

Just learned through LJ that my friendjewelsong, who hails from the Boston area, but is presently working in London, England, is attending her first filkcon, the UK con in Basingstoke :). Way cool. Hope she's having fun and that she sings for you all, because she has an extensive repertoire of cool songs.
