A Cold
I've spent much of the day sleeping. I have a cold that's keeping me feeling really dragged out. Took the day off of school today knowing that it was one of those days that if I dragged myself in I would leave the day with no voice at all. Tomorrow my class is going skiing so I need to be well enough to be OK for that.
Not feeling great, either, because having the cold means I've missed two days of walking for the Idita-walk challenge. I'm keeping the chart beside me here and I keep re-scheduling- if I walk -60- minutes a day instead of 45 minutes maybe I can catch up, if I walk 6 days next week instead of 5 days. Whatever, we'll see. Still determined to finish it no matter what, but it looks like there will still be lots of walking to get through in early March along with the bulk of the move and second term report cards.
Still working to organize the filk track for Ad Astra in five weeks' time. I'm pleased with how that's turning out, I'm getting back some enthusiastic responses. At present Heather Dale (an SCA musician with wonderful songs to match a wonderful voice) and Ookla The Mok have pre-Masquerade sets and Urban Tapestry has a concert Saturday afternoon. There's also an "Intro to Filk" panel on Friday night and a "Space Exploration Filk" panel on Saturday night, as well as open filking on both nights. Local filkers Judith and Dave Hayman, Glenn Simser and Eric Layman are also participating in the Ad Astra filk programming.
Life goes apace, but I hope I'm feeling healthier tomorrow.
Exercise log: Sigh...
