Follow-up on Fav TV Commercials
My fav TV commercial right now is the one for Staples stationery stores with the Wednesday Adams kid looking warily across the store aisle and accusing, "I thought you said school was out FOREVER.". Camera turns then to Alice Cooper dropping school supplies into a cart and replying, "Oh, no, the song goes, "School's out for summer.". Nice try, though.".
Hee hee. Staples has the best "back to school" ads. The ads using the song, "The Most Wonderful Time of The Year" were inspired. I figure any company that can make a teacher enjoy their "back to school" ads is doing something right.
Olympics end tomorrow. No more endless repetitions of commercials by Olympic sponsors. John and I haven't eaten a hamburger in six months, but we can't help but agree that Canada's milk mascot, the Little Blue Cow (who has been in Canadian Olympic commercials ad nauseum), might make some mighty fine burgers.
