TV Commercials

Something frivolous today. TV Commercials.

Usually TV commercials are just incredibly annoying and a good excuse to check my e-mail or get a snack, but every once in awhile a commercial will come on that will tickle me despite myself.

Kentucky Fried Chicken is running my favorite commercial right now. I laughed out loud the first time I saw it. A woman is walking down the sidewalk and she points in front of her off-camera and starts shrieking a horror movie scream and then turns and runs away. When the camera pans down there's an autumn maple leaf lying on the sidewalk. The voice over says, "Summer won't last forever, get your KFC dinner now.". Lastly they show a guy at a picnic shrieking and then composing himself as he brushes a falling autumn leaf off his shoulder. The commercial amuses me. I don't know why :).

I also like the animated St. Joseph Aspirin commercial where the aspirin acts as a bouncing ball following the words of a jangly tune about how the circulatory system works. "Pump, pump-pump, pump, pump-pump, pumps your blood.".

The commercials I like least these days? Anything with a talking or singing baby. Like the baby that sings "La la la la" in the East Side Mario delivery commercials. That baby creeps me out. Or the baby that talks in the Bell Canada commercials, ads that are equally annoying on TV and in print.

QUESTION:

So, tell me, what is your favorite commercial on TV these days? What is your least favorite commercial? Since I know we're all in different countries watching different commercials, give us a brief outline of the commercials you pick.
