I have been on quite the hiatus from this platform but as I navigate career changes, I’m turning here as a creative outlet. My time the last few weeks has been spent decluttering my space, my mind, & focusing only on what sparks inspiration. Perhaps it’s the 4 planets I have in Scorpio but I love transformation, a fresh start.

In a world that feels full of overconsumption and an endless stream of content… I am trying to unwind. Reprogram. Consume less. Learn. Live more. Create more. Plus post wedding I feel like I can do anything… I have so much free time on my hands!!! So I’m putting it into creating rather than consuming.

A few things I’m loving.

HOME

My home project at the moment is revamping my ‘home office’, or for us New Yorkers, the small space in our bedroom where I keep a desk.

The through-line of everything I’ve saved has been a slipcovered white chair, so I have one on the way - it feels just right for a bedroom. I’m also on the hunt for a lamp, I’m torn between an oversized ceramic or this polished little silver one. I’m also envisioning a pin board situation, but of course the one I want is on back order (sigh).

HEALTH & WELLNESS

Acupuncture & Traditional Chinese Medicine

I started seeing this lovely french woman on the Upper West Side for acupuncture and honestly - I think it’s life changing. My sleep has improved, my energy levels are better and my body feels like it’s in a better flow. One of my favorite follows at the moment is Dr. Natazia Stolberg — she’s an acupuncturist and a wealth of knowledge. And on that note, her tea is perfect, I drink it most nights.

Heated Sculpt / Pilates

If you know me you probably already know this, but there is no better workout in my mind than a heated sculpt class. To say I had been missing them after moving to NY from LA is an understatement, but after a 3 year drought we FINALLY now have an abundance of them in New York. My favorite is Practice Room.

TO WEAR

My dressing philosophy is typically to find casual / relaxed styles in more elevated fabrics, so I’ve been on the hunt for tees / long sleeves in nice knits - inspired mostly by 90s Prada & Calvin Klein (always).

This tee and v neck from Renggli look closest to what I’m looking for, but it’s always worth a search on The Real Real, here’s one from Prada circa 1990.

Reminder to shop your own closet!!! I’ve been going through mine and got rid of so much that doesn’t serve me but also found some great pieces that had gotten lost.

WATCHING / READING

I recently read One Golden Summer while I was on my honeymoon and it was perfect.

We just finished House of Guinness on Netflix and have to say I loved it. I need a season two.
