- Reviewed in the United States on December 8, 2024Format: PaperbackI’ve just finished reading Moribund Earth: Survivors of Zeeta 21. I thoroughly enjoyed it: it has a gripping plot and fascinating characters…a real page turner! Besides the exiting storyline with unexpected twists, it addresses some deeper questions: after all are we just all alone in this world? Can humanity learn from the past and bring about a more humane connection between life forces and avoid death and destruction? Can humans build a better future for itself? The questions are immersed in an intense storyline that will pull you into this sci-fi world. Life in 3246 seems bleak, but there might just be a little ray of hope…no spoilers! Highly recommended reading – not only to the sci-fi fans…but for people who are interested in the human condition.

Marco RubinatoReviewed in Italy on September 6, 20254.0 out of 5 stars A grim scifi book
Format: PaperbackVerified PurchaseInteresting grim approach to sci-fi. I particularly appreciated the way it is written, notably in the first chapters, when with few sentences the writer introduces us in a devastated world where hope is almost completely lost. I also liked how easy it was to follow all the various characters all along the story.
It is a pity that there are only a few appealing characters and they arrive at almost half of the book. Some characters' evolutions could have been better explained. A nice book overall that could have been better. Was surprised about the ending and I am curious how this will be developed in the second book.
