    So sad that this is the final book of the series Horses and Souls. I have loved every one of the books. Anna's characters are clearly defined by her representation of their characters, both the good sides and the bad sides. Their actions and thoughts make this book both a fun and a sad read. There is never a lull in the story, it flows from event to event, making it hard to put down. I can only hope that at some stage, Anna will add to this series. I am very interested to see what other work will now come from Anna.

    Though I liked the stories surrounding the people and relationships with one another and their horses, I did not like the negativity towards and bashing of the Catholic people and their traditions and beliefs. Book 5 was the worst for catholic bashing, but this book held some as well.
