Above 'N' Beyond is the seventh and final book in the Federal K-9 series. This is K-9 Sergeant Jamie Pataglio's story. It is, by far, THE most requested book I've written.

For this one, I took a really deep dive into conflict and emotional wounds that drive characters to do what they do, make the decisions they make, and I think it added so many layers to the story. That's why I think this is one of the best books I've written. There's so much juicy angst and meat to Jamie's and Bella's fears, hopes and dreams, and especially, their character arcs.

Above 'N' Beyond is the end of a K-9 series era for me. I may be biased, but I think it's one of my best. I worked hard to come up with a story poignant and exciting enough to end the series with. And readers really put on the pressure. I sincerely hope you enjoy Above 'N' Beyond.

As for what's next, I'm currently writing Ultimate Justice, the final book in the K-9 Special Ops series. Then I'm on to something really exciting—a thriller series! So stay tuned...

    This was an exciting and edge of your seat book. Jimmy/Jamie (real name) was under cover in Sing Sing to get close to a mobster. Jimmy did his job well and was asked to be part of their group. The group usually met at Bella’s restaurant so this is where Jimmy met Bella. The FBI was after Bella’s aunt who was the head of their group. I felt awful for Bella as her aunt supported her after her parents were shot. Her aunt was horrible and treated Bella more like a slave. Bella’s restaurant was half owned by her aunt who used her restaurant for unscrupulous things. I loved how Jimmy tried to look out for Bella and I could tell the two were falling for each other. I can’t tell you how many times I thought Jimmy was going to get caught. I was heartbroken for Jimmy as he didn’t feel like he was good enough for Bella. You will love Jimmy’s K-9 Jax! He acted like a real person and was always there for Jimmy. I loved the book and strongly encourage you to read it.

Heck the bad guys are interesting. Intense drama, intrigue and suspense keep you turning pages to find out what happens next. Jamie Pataglio and Bella Bianco along with Jamie's K9, Jax, make this story special. Add in the Mafia family complete with a power hungry leader and the close knit K9 teamit just gets better.

    jamie AKA Jimmy Santoro is willing to do anything to make sure his seriously ill father gets the treatment he needs. That includes going undercover and being imprisoned for six months in otder to get close to a Mafioso. Getting close was easy, getting the goods proves to be tougher. Jamie did not count on the blond haired, blue eyed temptress that could be neck deep in the "family business." Bella doesn't date mobsters. Havin Jimmy more or less shoved into her life doesn't make her happu but even more than that she doesn't want to like or be attracted to him. He proves at every turn that there's a nice guy under all those muscles. As things intensify not only between them but with her aunt and cousin planning something that could cost Bella everything, she takes drastic measures. Something that could go very badly if found out. Jamie has to ensure she remains safe while trying to get the critical information he desperately needs. Yes, you know it's all going to go sideways but you won't be able to stop reading until there's a happily ever after in Jamie and Bella's future.

    What “Jimmy Santoro” aka Jamie Pataglio does not account for is Bella Bianco, the cousin and niece to the infamous, “Godmother” of the Mancuso family. Bella is suspected of being as bad as the rest of them, but Jimmy finds out his perception has just been wrong, very wrong. I fell in love with Jax and Gnocchi. We also get to hear updates about the alpha characters with their women and dogs from previous books. Chapter 17 is intense, chapter 29 made me cry and then chapter 35! It is not necessary to have read any other book in this series to understand this book but I think you may get the “O’Fallon bug” and need to read the others. Just saying…

But his infiltration to bring down this mob family, will also cause Bella to lose her dream restaurant, which her Aunt has been using to money launder. Will Jamie keep his end of the deal and get his father released? Or will he back out to save the woman he has fallen for, from losing everything because of her Aunt's using her restaurant to launder her dirty money?
