- Reviewed in the United States on July 1, 2020Format: KindleVerified PurchaseIf been a fan of Miss Graysons books from the beginning of her writing book history. She weaves a wonderful tail with depth, skill, heart, soul and more. It only gets better with time and experience.
Marek and Elizabeth story gives a great example of understanding of how relationship work in the most difficult time and can result in a deeper love and respect during strife. Read as they both become one and there future s become more them themselves.
I'm looking forward to the next few books from Miss Grayson series.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 2, 2021Format: KindleVerified PurchaseBecause wanted more questions answered.
Was happy that many from the first were answered.
Really hope that there will be more series of later generations of hybrids, humans, etc. not just human pairings. (Though would like a story of human male, another species female.)

- Reviewed in the United States on July 16, 2020Format: KindleI am really enjoying this new series Beneath A Different Sky (V’loryn book three) by Jessica Grayson. I love the characters and the storyline has such an unique twist that it kept me enthralled throughout it. I found the characters Marek (V’loryn) and Elizabeth (human) love for each other truly inspiring. When Marek’s people come to Earth they work together on a project that will help them to communicate between their planets. They are in charge of the computer core as well as creating a translation program. Together with their team they insure that the project is completed. When they first meet Marek knows that Elizabeth is his Si’an T’Kara (his fated bondmate), his si’an’inamora (I am yours and you are mine) which is supposed to be a myth since one hasn’t happened in 2000 years. They will be the first V’loryn/Terran couple to marry/bond. As they overcome all the obstacles in their way their love only grows stronger and when they finally find the happy ever after I was so happy I couldn’t stop smiling. I highly recommend this book to everyone.
- Reviewed in the United States on July 10, 2020Format: Kindle"Omg! Can this series get any better? I am so happy we get to see Mareks home and world! I hope the others stop trying to break them up and just let them love each other. I can't wait to see how Marek will be when he has his heat cycle and if they will become preggo. Omg! What if their baby is a Dragonrider to Mareks dragons baby!?!?
I can't wait for the next book. The only thing that is killing me is the wait, but it's worth it because how romantic this series is. This is what SFR should be.
I am so happy that I saw this recommended in Jade Waltz newsletter because both author know what romance is. Jessica has become one if my favorite authors. I can't wait to see more from her!"

- Reviewed in the United States on July 13, 2020Format: KindleI just finished Beneath a Different Sky, and if you found yourself invested in the story of Elizabeth and Marek in Lost in the Deep End, this is where the rubber meets the road! So many stories intertwining, so many connections made. When new becomes familiar, you’ll feel like you’re watching a reunion of sorts unfold. Ms. Grayson has been weaving a world that is now coming together in a way that leaves the reader eagerly anticipating the next move.

PiaReviewed in Germany on April 16, 20225.0 out of 5 stars Elizabeth and Marek (2)
Format: KindleVerified PurchaseElizabeth and Marek travel to the planet V'lora. They want to bond in the ancient ways and also the Emperor, who is an enemy to Marek, since Marek doesn't want to marry the Emperor's daughter, wants to use his right to approve of the bonding .....
I loved to read the book. Elizabeth and Marek are such a heartwarming couple. There are awesome romantic scenes, also adventurous scenes and lots of suspense. I highly recommend this book and look forward to the next installment in this series.
Mrs. ReadstoomuchReviewed in Canada on February 14, 20215.0 out of 5 stars Not quite a cliffhanger- but definitely leaves off with a lotta loose ends
Format: KindleVerified PurchaseGlad I waited to read this close to the release of the next instalment. Beautifully written, a wonderful love story but I do have to admit to being bored with the heroine- she is frustratingly perfect and I kinda found it hard to care about her well being at all by the end of the book. I really hope that after the next story - the trend of following her and Marek’s POV and relationship is ended. I care about the other people in this story-world more than either of them. Sorry, but their love is so perfect: it’s bland. The other elements in this world are all amazing though and I definitely recommend the read to anyone who enjoys sci-fi or fantasy (the romance part was lacking that genuine feel and was text book fairy-tale with a few naughty bits that read mechanically). The relationship between them seemed so solid, it feels like it didn’t bear mention and there was never anything in question regarding the two’s commitment. The interactions between friends and family were more engaging than the multiple mentions of how much they loved each other. It seemed like the point of their love was a dead horse that got a few too many licks in after-death- we got it, they love each other sooo much- it doesn’t need to be repeated that many times - it becomes tedious to read again and again.
