Stuart Bone was born and raised in Essex, England. After twenty years working as an accountant in the London banking industry he quit his job to start writing full time. Stuart's 'Tenhamshire comedy' novels began with a story set on a coach trip that had the original, imaginative title of 'Coach Trip.' It eventually became DRIVEN TO DISTRACTION.

After writing several comedy novels, Stuart branched out into mystery fiction with REFLECTIONS, a story about an unsolved missing child case. He continues to write in both genres and has seen his writing career go from strength to strength.

    I really enjoyed this book. The author did a great job creating the mystery and then feeding small clues and stories through out the book to keep you excited and intrigued. The characters were relatable and interesting and i felt like i really got to know them. I also appreciated how well he tied everything together at the end but with a twist that you will enjoy! I highly recommend this book!

    Wow, I just finished reading this book and my mind is completely blown right now. The storyline had me on the edge of my seat until the very end, it was exciting, enjoyable and heartfelt. I’ve read so many predictable mystery books now that I thought I had figured this one out, but I was completely wrong, the author was able to create something that was unexpected and fresh, which is not easy to do. I also commend him for being able to tell the story from so many different character perspectives, I thought it would become confusing but he actually handled it very well, he clearly possess a unique understanding of how different people tick, and used this ability to his advantage when delving into the thoughts and feelings of all of the different characters. Well done! Please write more mystery novels like this!

    Having read Stuart Bone's other books, the humorous ones, this was sitting on my bookshelf for some time. Big error on my part as this was a cracking read, finished in two sittings.
    It's hard to review without giving much away, other than to say there are brilliantly written characters, backstories that intertwine and keep you reading through to the end.

    A talented author indeed.
