Award winning author Kimberly Rose Johnson married her college sweetheart and lives in the Pacific Northwest. From a young child Kimberly has been an avid reader. Kimberly holds a degree in behavioral science from Northwest University in Kirkland, Washington, and is a member of American Christian Fiction Writers.

Rachel Leblang has been using audiobooks to liven up her frequent car rides for over eight years now, and annoying her family with silly voices for twenty-seven. While earning a bachelor's degree in Japanese language studies, she was asked to lend her voice to a classmate's video game and a passion for voice acting was born! She made the natural leap into audiobooks, and has produced 114 books to date.     Another great page turner by this author! This book was a good mix of suspense and romance. Once again, the characters had great chemistry. I also love how this sequel followed up on the relationship from book #1. Often authors end a book with happily ever after and then we don’t hear much about the couple again but this book highlighted the continuation of their new relationship which I think is so important and authentic but then this book also brought in a fresh romance as well.

    In terms of the suspense, I didn’t figure out who the bad person was and I love that this book wasn’t predictable. Can’t wait for book #3!

    Because of the great reviews about their services, Protection, Inc., has been getting plenty of cases and had to hire more help. Then one of the women from Carissia's favorite coffee shop runs into a scary situation. She mentioned it to Carissia who immediately became concerned about Hannah's safety. About the same time, Jenna, an advertising princess, gets fired after a video made secretately, goes viral. Unfortunately it's a rant about their biggest client that Jenna was going on about in the video! Immediately Jenna received a horrible email which threatened her life. Both victims seem pretty clueless about their own case. Jenna lost not only her job, but also her rent free luxury apartment as well as the company car which was another perk of her great job. One of her co-workers invited Jenna to stay with her for a few days. But Samantha didn't expect Jenna to stay more than a day or two. Jenna stayed a week before she realizes that Samantha wanted her gone! Then she must move out. Peter, one of her body guards is attracted to her and vice versa. Not only did she lose her job, her Dad is advised to retire from his position as the Pastor. There is plenty of drama, a bit of romance and good spiritual truth also in this good read.

    This set of books is great. I've enjoyed how it works to be security/bodyguards without the danger of actually being the characters. These are well-developed plots, with great people of the Christian variety. This clean type of book is just what I wanted. Please keep the Christianity in your books! It so important for youth to understand that this lifestyle can be done in a professional setting.

    I did not see that one coming. I love trying to figure out who is behind the threat, but I missed the mark big time on this book. To me that makes the book great. It was also one I kept putting down because I didn't want it to end! Highly recommend. Good clean book.

    Two cases and the team is spending all their energy to keep their clients safe and work on their relationships. The team went from three to five since book one and the two cases are quite different. It was a quick read with lots of sweet moments and suspenseful sections. The blend of Christianity and intrigue was done well and made for some good conversations. Part seemed forced or predictable, but the majority was interwoven well and enjoyable as they worked to solve the cases and figure out the villains.
