This We Are: New Thinking for a New Era (The New Era Book 2) Kindle Edition
This We Are is an exploration of what it means to be human.
It is the second in a series of books about what-might-be. Like the first book in the series which is called This We Know, This We Are, was not planned. The whole vision for the book arrived out of the blue while sipping a cool beer in the sunshine one Spring evening. The idea was to share observations on what we really are as humans. It is an empirical and personal point of view. As such, some of it is conjecture and most of it is more research-in-progress.
This We Are explores what we are, where we came from and where we might be heading.
Perhaps unlike any other species on the planet, we have the ability and ‘smarts’ to influence our own evolution and future. This doesn’t necessarily require manipulation of our DNA - although this may be one mechanism we utilise. Merely by thinking and using our imagination, we can change our course.
This We Are is as much a celebration as who and what we are as humans as it is a polemic. It’s brevity belies its depth. Like This We Know it is a clarion call to each person on this special planet to live the most magnificent life they can.
The Postscript 2213 is literally out of this world.
It is not a book of scientific fact, although at first it may appear to be so. Today's physics and science are yesterday's metaphysics and alchemy. To make things exoteric and known, we have to explore the occult and esoteric worlds. Nothing is necessarily what is first seen.
Like This We Know, this book is designed to inform, entertain and to change minds. When we change our minds, it causes our world to wobble slightly on its axis. A twelve year old boy said of This We Know that it was “mind bobbling”. In contrast and resonance, This We Are is somewhat “mind wobbling”.
"A super read as Tom does it again! Another thought provoking and very interesting book, the second in this series and I hope not the last."

About the author

Tom is an ex-BBC television engineer turned author.
In his mid-40s, he wrote a book by accident and, before he knew it, became and author's mentor specialising in clearing writer's blocks and teaching writers how to tap into unlimited creativity.
He has now morphed into an internationally renowned meditation guide on the back of the meditations that accompanied his books.
In this new decade, Töm Evans, the author of fiction is emerging, augmented by ambient music inspired by his books.
His writing is aimed at exploring what makes us creative (and what stops it). As a result, his area of research has taken him down the route of researching the esoteric and other worldly as well as cutting edge scientific thinking and research.
His aim is to take the esoteric (the occult, obscure and hidden), to demystify it and make it exoteric (known and understood). He is an engaging speaker and works both 1-2-1 with authors and in group workshop.
Tom comes with a big caveat - people who read his books find all sorts of magic starting to emerge in their lives.
