I thoroughly enjoyed all three stories in this collection. The characters are all imaginative and realistic. The descriptions did a great job on the areas of South Florida where the action takes place. The style of writing was smooth and undemanding, making for an easy read. In all the episodes the action jumps to different characters and times in some paragraphs, making things a little hard to follow because of the number of people involved. I definitely had to pay attention to keep the story sorted out. Some actions carried through all three stories, though each had a definite ending. Because of the different threads that come together in each book it is hard to read the stories in short bursts. Allow enough time to read major portions when you start.

If one grew up in the Cocoa Beach area, this quick series is a definite must. Good vacation/beach reading. Author keeps the reader intrigued. Many references to current and former locals in the Brevard county area.
