Don't lie to me by Willow Rose is the first book in the Eva Rae Thomas Mystery Series. Willow Rose does not disappoint. I love everything I read by her, and this is no exception. Although it can be read as a standalone, I would recommend reading the complete series in order. You will get so much more out of it by knowing the background of each previous book.
This is a thrilling suspense, full of lots of twists and turns. Eva Rae is trying to put her life back together after her divorce. She resigned from the FBI as a profiler and moved back home with her 3 kids. A child is missing and eventually found dead. Eva Rae ends up helping the Sheriffs Dept in the investigation. Soon another child, the daughter of a senator comes up missing. Can Eva Rae save her before it’s too late?
This is a fast-paced, unputdownable book that will keep you reading into the night. It’s full of suspense, action and lots of drama. A very intriguing read.

Who the kidnapper/killer is will stun you as all the lies from Eva Rae's life were revealed to her.
A parent's worst nightmare--their child is kidnapped never to be heard from again--unless they turn up dead. Eva Rae has recently been through a divorce which wasn't pleasant--she quit her job with the FBI and moved with her three children back to the town where she grew up and where her parents still lived. She managed to stay out of the investigation until the day one of her best friends came to her door with a woman --her child hadn't come home-the woman was frantic but for reasons you might understand she could not go to the police. Meanwhile Eva Rae's children were acting out--big time. Her old boyfriend's son (she didn't even know he had a son) went missing. They found the son's mother dead----then Eva Rae's daughter runs away from home----Divorce can be really hard on children. Everyone of the missing children had parents who were divorced. Would they catch the elusive kidnapper/killer? Who it is will stun you as all the lies from Eva Rae's life were revealed to her. This is definitely a book worth reading!

I enjoyed this book immensely. Mainly because recent books I have read have stretched the limits of credulity too far. I could imagine this book happening in real life; the people and events were true to life - very important to me.
