    Marisa Masterson continues to surprise me with her enthralling short stories! Definitely recommend starting with Book 4 of this series "A Farmer for Christmas" to introduce you to the Sittig family, and where you first meet Carl. Though they are both stand alone reads, Book 4 covers the oldest brother Holder, while this book focuses on the youngest brother Carl. In book 4 You learn that Carl is beaten so badly he becomes a "simpleton". Who would be so desperate enough to marry a man-child? Merrilee Rollins only lost her mother last week, but her evil step father is already threatening and trying to force her to marry his disgusting nephew. Having an "idiot" husband is looking better and better. Lots of surprises, drama, intrigue, action and romance ahead! Her stories have it all and you won't be disappointed.
