    MJ Fields never fails to amaze me at each and every turn. The cleverness and wisdom that is hidden in the depths of Match This is truly astounding. This book will grab you by the eyeballs and scream at you to sit down, shut up, grab a drink, and read.

    I fell in love with the novella Unsocially Yours, but Match This stole my heart. I'm not sure how it is that she can take every single social dating faux pas and turn it into one of the funniest damn books ever written but she did! In Match This we find Kat several years later now out and working in the real world. Still maintaining her unsocial ways keeping very few friends and separating business and pleasure. Until one day the Mom-ster shows up. I have to say I love the little nicknames that MJ gives to the characters. And all of the one liners in this book had me cracking up. I thought I was going to choke on my wine several times. (Don't judge . . . you know you do it too!) ;)

    Fast forward to Kat becoming entangled in some precarious situations and tossing herself into the dating pool. Yikes. But our beloved Kat is true to herself and doesn't take crap from anyone always telling it like it is from the get go. I FLOVE her character. She reminds me of . . . . Well, me. The great part is we actually get to see her character grow during this novel. And it's interesting to see how she wrestles with those pesky emotions. This book doesn't lack the hot guy or peen factor that is for sure. Both good and bad. That's the great part she shows us both sides of the coin.

    MJ Fields you are a genius. And I think the line "The mountain of peen in the jean . . ." is honestly one for the history books. I for one cannot wait to see where Kat's Journey takes us on next.

    So, MJ Fields gives us this sexy, light, and hilarious little story about a tattoo artist named Kat, her mother, and her two best friends. Oh, and the gorgeous men she works with at the shop. This book is about friendships and relationships.

    And for a book about hooking-up, there is very little sex. I'm talking, one sexual encounter. ONE.
    Until the end, when there's a sexy sexual encounter that goes.....nowhere. Nowhere because the book ends and now I am dying for book two. Which I've already queued up on my Kindle.

    Get ready for one wild ride. This book is hilarious. And just know that Kat is going to say all the things you wished you could say. And she's not going to care about how that makes you feel.

    **I listened to this audio and Ramona Master was awesome. Her tone and inflection and overall attitude as Kat is on point. It's easy to distinguish the different characters as she changes her tone/pitch with each person. I really, really hope she narrates book two.

    But, Kat has a secret. Her outside persona does not match her "house" or close friend persona. To the world she is tough, dark, tatted, no f%cks given. At home, she is Wine Wednesdays with her besties, unicorns and glitter. When her mom shows up unannounced to stay with her, cracks start to show up in that rock hear shell around her heart. Could there be more to life that quick one night stands?

    There is so much humor throughout the book. The whole premise around on line dating and the crazy text/messaging that happens when people can hide behind a screen with no filter. The banter between Kat and her friends and even with her mom was priceless. Laugh out loud snorting at some points!

    So 4.5. I had to take some off because there is a cliffie. And it's an awkward doozy of a scene to leave us hanging on, dang it! I was surprised by the turn of events in the last 15% of the story. Kat's ongoing flirting with @rider1 leads to more self examination about where she wants to go with her life. And then Friday night happens and holy sh*t! I need to know what happens next!!!

    Best part of the story: a little Mama Joe time. If you follow this author, you'll know what I mean. Love that woman to pieces!

    So grab this one now or wait until June 7th for the rest of the story. Overall fun read!

    Kat is totally unsocial and doesn't apologize for it. Kat and her mom have a strained relationship so when mom comes to stay for awhile and Kat finds out she's on a dating site things get crazy. Kat tries to teach her mom the social media slang and as her friends weigh in things take a turn. Dates are set up for mom and Kat is convinced to join the site. Kat's dates are an experience that will have you laughing your a** off not mention mom decides to let go of her inhibitions...

    This is one of the funniest books I have read in a long time!! MJ is great at making you laugh throughout the book but also seeing the serious side too.

    Beware there is a cliffhanger. I can't wait for the next book!!

    Well this book just made me smile big; I really enjoyed it!

    This book is all about Kat and I loved her. She was sassy, sarcastic, brash, unapologetic but even though she doesn't want us to know it, she's loving, nurturing and vulnerable.

    The story flowed really well and the dialogue was quick and punchy. It was funny and I more than once laughed out loud but there was a real emotional edge to it but it was subtle and just weaved it's way through the story.

    I loved all the side characters, I loved that this book was about women and that it felt like a real take on dating today. Couldn't recommend it enough and look forward to the next book.

    Match This is a fun read and is the story of the sexy, unfiltered female tattoo artist who we have met previously in Men of Steel. The first part of the book gives you a little insight into Kat's past and may help you understand why she's a little jaded and doesn't believe in love. Kat has issues with her Mother but loves her dearly, she lets very few people see the real KAT, so when the guys from the shop turn up at hers for her girls wine night they get a shock to see a different side but Kat gets the shock of her life when mother dearest turns up to stay for a while. Discovering that her mother has a profile for online dating is a shock but when challenged to join the site herself who is she to back down from a challenge.

    I'm not going to give you anymore but urge you to go get your copy and enjoy this truly laugh out loud book. MJ never fails to deliver and I personally cannot wait for the next book to see what happens to Kat's life will she ever find love or will she live a life on her own.
