    What do you do when your new bride, whose name you don’t know, touches your hand and you feel electric pulse though you. But then she says the words “I’m pregnant” then runs away?? You chase her down and make her marry you of course.
    Megan’s parent are selling her into a marriage where she doesn’t know her groom because of their debt. She is currently pregnant and a disgrace to her parents.
    Jordan is in a predicament. At thirty and working for his dads company, he has to find a wife and have a heir or his dad will sale the company.
    The moment that he see Megan, he knows she’s the one he’s been waiting for. Now he just has to convince her that he is here to stay and gain her trust.
    Jordan is so loving and constantly insuring her that he wants to be there for her and her baby (their baby in his words). It’s takes Megan a little while to trust that he is sincere because she’s never had love before. Always being left behind by her parents and the baby daddy. Once she finally gives in and trust Jordan’s words and actions, she finds out what love is really all about.

    -no talk about sexual history on either side besides her pregnancy
    -no ow/om drama aside from an assistant that sends a threatening email but she is never seen in the book because he takes care of it.

    This is my favorite short story from KL Donn. This story is one an arranged marriage for a young girl who has no idea of who she is marrying. When they first meet (at the altar) Maggie has a secret to tell him, when he fails to respond she runs away. Jordan is dumbfounded by his reaction to her touch and by the time his head is clear she’s gone. He chases after her apologizes for his poor behavior and asks her to continue the ceremony. Jordan quickly whisks her away for their honeymoon and prays that by the time they head home that they are both falling in love with each other. A week in the safety of Bora Bora can change everything, but going home proves to be another story. Is their new love strong enough to survive the real world, mainly is it strong enough to survive in Jordan’s world?

    Megan Dolan didn’t expect to find herself pregnant with the father leaving her so he could backpack through Europe. She also never expected to find herself marrying a man she never met and didn’t even know the name of to pay off her parent’s debts.
