R.L. Kenderson is two best friends writing under one name.

Renae has always loved reading, and in third grade, she wrote her first poem where she learned she might have a knack for this writing thing. Lara remembers sneaking her grandmother’s Harlequin novels when she was probably too young to be reading them, and since then, she knew she wanted to write her own.

When they met in college, they bonded over their love of reading and the TV show Charmed. What really spiced up their friendship was when Lara introduced Renae to romance novels. When they discovered their first vampire romance, they knew there would always be a special place in their hearts for paranormal romance. After being unable to find certain storylines and characteristics they wanted to read about in the hundreds of books they consumed, they decided to write their own. And since then, they branched off to contemporary romance and romantic comedy.

One lives in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area and the other in the Kansas City area where they’re a sonographerand pharmacist, and they’re a sexy author by night. They communicate through phone, email, and whole lot of messaging.

    Rachel meet Sean when they are both in college. They are both attracted to each other and when she gives in one evening she ends up saying something that upsets him. So Sean tries to avoid her but their attraction has them drawn back to each other. They end up talking about what went wrong between them and starts seeing each other for years. Then when he gets offered a job in another city Rachel doesn;t want to leave her friends and family behind to follow him so it ends thing between them. Then just when she is out with some friends she sees Sean with another woman. Is Sean back in town for good? Will they get another chance?

    This is a great story that will captivate you from beginning to end. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

    Sometimes fate just has a way of giving you exactly who you never knew you needed. When Rachel's alarm clock broke and she was running late for class, she ended up sitting next to a cute boy named Sean. Rachel found herself being undeniably attracted to Sean, despite him not being her usual type. Sean invites Rachel to a party at his house and the couple hit it off, but Sean ignores Rachel afterwards because of a misunderstanding. Can Sean and Rachel work things out to find their happily ever after?

    I am a huge fan of the authors of this series and love all of their books. They do a great job of character development and sexiness; without it being raunchy. While Luke and Elise are my favorite couples in the series, it was great to get to see a bit more depth into Rachel and Sean's characters. I found that Rachel and Sean as a couple we're very sweet. I am looking forward to reading Nate's story!

    I didn’t enjoy it as much as I expected. The premise was intriguing and I wondered where the story would go. I was let down.

    The rumor is just a reason for the main characters to get together, after a minor conflict, and then the story goes in another direction–that, admitedly, I didn’t see coming–and we never read about it again. And the main conflict–the plot twist–doesn’t make much sense, brings a several year jump in the story, is resolved quickly and ends with an happily ever after that left a bad taste in my mouth.

    I loved the characters and I was disappointed that their love story didn’t please me more.

    loved this introduction to the Naughty series. It's a nice indicator of the emotion and sizzle in the series. The book covers a lot of time from the couple's meeting in college through their twenties. Rachel is unusually attracted to Sean, he's not her type but the attraction won't be denied.     So I'm very new to R.L. Kenderson but find myself devouring everything I can find. This is a standalone but also part of a series you will meet characters from future stories. R.L. really writes with heart and heat and comedy. This is Rachel and Sean's story and I love them! We see that yes they love each other but not everything is perfect. I love that we meet Luke and Eliese too. I am happy that I get my HEA and it's done in a way I never saw coming. As I said, I read them out of order but it won't matter...it'll make you want to read them all.
