Review
This story and the way Willow Rose had written it grabs you immediately and won't let go! You feel the fear and anxiety of the parents, the terror of the girls, and the frustration of the police and community. She weaves the story so that you can experience the different senses... It's hard to explain, but when you read it - you will understand. If I gave examples, I feel they would spoil the story for you.
The characters are very well developed, and they feel like people you meet or even know. You feel as if you are there on the chase to find the ten missing girls. You will feel sorry for little Nikki... and you will cheer for Julie! The parents are interesting in their reactions to their missing daughters. I really loved how Rebekkah tackles the situation!
The book touches your very heart as it is about child abduction - something that is probably every parents worst nightmare... The fact the author drew inspiration from REAL events makes the story even more chilling. Read this book - you won't be able to put it down! If you have daughters, it may give you nightmares!
Willow Rose definitely knows how to write stories that can chill you - and feel the range of emotions of her characters. This is a story that will keep me thinking about it for the next few days!
--Julie Blaskie, AmazonAll parents worst nightmare, I will not soon forget this story! Ten young girls kidnapped from their grade school? The time in the book is May, 2018.
One mother speaks in the first person; of course, that is Rebekka Frank, mother of 3, living in Cocoa Beach, Florida. Rebekka is a writer; maybe that s why she s so smart! She runs rings around the local detective with her deductive reasoning.
Another storyline runs concurrently to the kidnapping story; it is cleverly done and is not a distraction. Domestic violence in a marriage between Jane and Bob, starting in November, 1990.
Author Willow Rose has written a complex, tear-jerking, frightening, emotional, and fascinating story! The suspense is killing! The surprises and twists are wonderful. 6 Stars!
--Susan1, TOP 1000 REVIEWER AmazonThe Queen of Scream has done it again.
This story is about Rebekka Frank. One day her little girl did not get off the bus. Come to find out that 9 other girls are also missing. What happened??
Other people at school told authorities some of the girls were diverted to another bus, but no one knows why.
One parent received a popular nursery rhyme, but by the time Rebekka figured it out, it was too late for the little girl. She was found dead in her parent's car.
Now the most horrible part starts to come around. Other nursery rhymes are sent to parents. Will their parents find them in time or will it be too late again? Ms. Rose wrote this story after these horrible kidnappings had actually happened. I can imagine how I would feel if this happened to me, I have 5 daughters!

- Reviewed in the United States on September 28, 2018Format: KindleVerified PurchaseWhenever I see a book from Willow Rose, it's my next read! This one was great, characters you could love, and those you dislike, just like life. This book was a fast paced story, torn from real life, you can feel the empathy for the ten children. I love her writing still, she can scare you without the Gore, frighten you with her imagination, and tantalize you with her plots. A great read, I couldn't give it five stars because I wasn't happy with the ending, it seemed too rushed. My personal opinion.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 6, 2019Format: KindleVerified PurchaseThe female bus driver had a hard time explaining to the mothers why their daughters: Julie Franck (6th grade), Alicia (3rd grade), & Alondra were not on the bus.
Tonya, Emmy (5th grade), Haley, Nikki (1st grade), were on board also.
Theodore Roosevelt Elementary school. Ms. Elaine (receptionist) greeted Rebekka Franck (mom) Sue Porter (mom), & Nancy Browning (mom).
Detective Jack Ryder had arrived also.
Colleen talked to each/every one of the children: Jane, Matthew Riley (son), Anna (daughter), Elisa (14, twin sister), Penelope (14, Elisa’s twin sister).
She also listened to the older kids concerns/gripes.
5/2018, Julie was trying to give Nikki water. The child was barely breathing & had a fever.
Detective Ryder had called in & asked the other patrol officers to look for Alicia Porter around the Cocoa Beach, FL. area.
All rise, the Court is now in session. Judge Emmett Porter is presiding.
Jane Wilson (19, ex-wife/mother, Ron Jon's surf shop, swimsuit dept, former drug addict) had finally been able to afford Scott a good attorney.
She had been compliant in everyway possible.
DCFS handed Matthew (1) over to Jane.
The Orange County's Sheriff's Department was now at Disneyland looking for Alicia.
Brian had Alicia in his arms. Sue (mother) grabbed her & took off.
Rebekka was dehydrated & lost a lot of weight, but the Dr. said she will be fine.
What is Elaine up to?

I did not receive any type of compensation for reading & reviewing this book. While I receive free books from publishers & authors, I am under no obligation to write a positive review. Only an honest one.
A very awesome book cover, great font & writing style. A very well written crime thriller book. It was very easy for me to read/follow from start/finish & never a dull moment. There were no grammar/typo errors, nor any repetitive or out of line sequence sentences. Lots of exciting scenarios, with several twists/turns & a large set of unique characters to keep track of. This could also make another great crime thriller movie, or better yet a mini TV series. A very easy rating of 5 stars.

- Reviewed in the United States on October 22, 2018Format: KindleVerified PurchaseBeing an avid reader was delighted to get an offer from VERIZON (Thank you!) to have KINDLE UNLIMITED 3 months for .99! And that's how I was introduced to WILLOW ROSE. Ten Little Girls from the git go has you buckling up for the ride. 10 youngsters in the "Sunshine State" go all in one day missing . The chaos never ending twists and turns commences. It's so awful almost feels as one of the 10 is your child. Ms. Willow such a great discovery. This author (us too that read her!) is blessed with seemingly endless ability from her pen mind and imagination in what happens to be my favorite genre. Scoff this book up. I guarantee you like I will be hurrying back for more. PLEASE my fellow KINDLE UNLIMITED participants remember to disable PAGE CURL. Its critical as these authors get paid by the pages we read. Monies paid per page. I being new to KU was unaware of AMAZONS policy with our authors they only get paid if PAGE CURLCURL in settings is disabled. Wouldnt hurt if you were to make mention in your reviews as I have about this payment requirement thus ensuring folks are made aware and our authors are ensured of compensation. - Reviewed in the United States on September 30, 2018Format: KindleVerified PurchaseThis book can be read as a stand alone from the series, it is entertaining enough to be read in one setting. Although the story was interesting, the dialogue was unimaginative and the author's avoidance of using curse words is distracting. Several moments including the ending are very unrealistic. Decent enough book if seeking a quick read.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 17, 2020Format: KindleVerified Purchasethis was one of the best books, so far in series. It was exciting because of the suspense involved while we wait to see, again, what happens with Julie, and nine other little girls. It was sad, in the sense that willow based this off of a true story. This will touch your heart, this will definitely have you on the edge of your seat, and it will definitely have you waiting for the final chapter in this series!

Format: KindleVerified PurchaseI enjoyed the story...it was a little too short...not much character building....but the premise was interesting and I like that it is based on an event that really happened !
It was interesting enough that I read it in one afternoon, so if your looking for something that you don't have to invest a lot of time into this would be a good suggestion
Rhiannon D'AvercReviewed in the United Kingdom on November 7, 20194.0 out of 5 stars Easy read
Format: KindleVerified PurchaseI found it really easy to get into this one despite not having read any of the others. The characters are well defined and the plot easy to follow. I did lose a bit of patience with the husband seeming like a bit of a robot - anyone would be distraught at a missing child, not just their biological parent - and some action that seemed out of left field, but overall I enjoyed it and couldn't wait to get to the end to find out what happened.
