This is not your average love story, but I still found it to be a really sweet one. The characters have interesting storylines that engrossed me from the start. Ms. Kelly has a way with words that manages to bring out my emotions every time. If you love the LA Lovers series, Becoming does not disappoint!Lisa Holt You're going to run out of balls if you keep knocking them out of the park. And this one was gone from the crack of the bat. Loved the book. Well-written, and a good story.

This was an amazing follow up to Fifty Shades of Pink. In typical Jourdyn Kelly fashion, seeing the story from a new point of view was everything I hoped it would be and made me love the characters even more.

There were parts of this book that were particularly difficult to write. I realize that some of the content may be a trigger to some people, and I apologize for that. The thing about writing is it isn't always pretty. But it is cathartic. While a writer may not have the same experiences as their characters, there's usually something there that needs to get out.I originally wrote Fifty Shades of Pink (the book we first met Rebecca and Cass in) on a dare. It was supposed to be a tongue-in-cheek short story. But I fell in love with the characters. I knew at some point Rebecca's story needed to be told. I hope that by the time you finish the book, you'll be smiling.

    First , I’d like to say there were no dislike for this story. I like to be grabbed from the first paragraph and I must say I wasn’t disappointed. This book and characters drew me in and I felt all the emotions. I was made to think about my reactions to some scenarios. I fell in love with Becca and Cass so much so that I wanted to physically fight for them and their love. I was also blown away by Rebecca’s circle and I want Aunt Wills to be my Aunt. This book is an inspiration for so many people for many different reasons. I’d recommend it to anyone feeling worthless or distraught from an overbearing abusive relationship or someone that needs to know that no matter how far you are down you have the strength to get back up and strive. Great writing!!

Some very nice phrasing that made for lots of laughing and a good pace. My first Jourdyn Kelly book, but intrigued about more.

    I enjoyed Rebecca and Cassidy’s story in Fifty Shades of Pink, that wasn’t first introduction to JK’s works. I then went on to read the rest of her novels. Becoming is a love story of Rebecca and Cassidy. I loved the fact that the author told the story from Rebecca’s POV, making both characters that much more endearing. The sex scenes were incredibly hot and well written! It was also funny while being erotic too. Thoroughly enjoyable and highly recommended!

    This story was so hot and yet so beautiful. I love Rebecca and Cassidy! Each of them has their own strengths and weaknesses. I loved the story’s beginning being told from Rebecca’s eyes and as her and Cassidy’s relationship blossomed. You felt the hurt in Cassidy when her best friend manipulates her and you feel the anger in Rebecca when she realizes all that is going on. Their connection, the love that they feel that is so deep comes through. With both of their ups and downs, they learn to rely on one another. This series just keeps getting better. On to the next book!

    I thought that book was just Rebecca's point of view of the same story, as Fifty shades of pink was Cass's point of view.
    But this book is so much more!
    In the beginning, you feel that you're reading the same story but quickly it becomes a full story by it's own. I love how the author explain the feelings of each character and how she handles the past of Rebecca.
    If you want to read both books, please begin with Fifty shades of pink and then Becoming.
