    Indiscretion is about Samantha "Sam" and Grant. Sam is a nineteen year old high school senior who is on the track team. She takes a run after school, preparing for the next meet, and hits some black ice, landing her in the physical therapist's office to get checked. The previous therapist has retired, and Grant has taken over the practice. Grant is twenty-nine and has only had his medical license for just over a year. Both Sam and Grant are immediately attracted to each other, but know nothing can come of it. He's her doctor, she's so young, so many reasons. But neither can deny their feelings for the other and they begin a secret affair...

    Things are going great until the secret is found out. Grant ends up in prison and serves ten months. He ignores Sam's letters to him and refuses to see her while he's in prison. What he doesn't know because of his refusals is that Sam was pregnant when he went to prison, and she has a newborn daughter with Grant. What he also finds out is who got him arrested and what else happened to Sam that night.

    I liked this story. It was full of emotions: lust, love, anger, frustration, happiness, and even shock. Told in alternating POV's, this story goes through the present and the past designed in a way to keep the reader guessing as to what the real story of who found out the secret and what lengths some people will go when they are denied what they feel is owed to them. There is a warning in the description as well as the book, but just to reiterate, there is reference to sexual violence - no real details, but enough that those with triggers need to be warned.

    I am a huge fan of forbidden romance. It's like my drug! I crave it and when I find a good one, I devour it. This was a good one!!

    Indiscretion is a story about true love. Unconditional love. The kind of love that you fight for. The kind of love that's permanently stamped on your heart. Sam and Grant shouldn't be together. They both know it but, the heart wants what the heart wants, right?

    I'm a big fan of this author. She has this amazing talent for writing characters that you can really connect with. Reading one of her books always leaves me happy, satisfied and begging for more. Indiscretion was a beautiful story with characters that had amazing chemistry. I loved how patient Grant was with Sam and how he was willing to risk everything for love. Sam is young but determined. She is instantly drawn to the older man that it definitely off limits. I mean, nothing stays a secret in a small town.

    With lots of steam and plenty of reasons to swoon, this book is a definite must read. There's just enough drama to keep things exciting and a love story that will pull at your heartstrings. It captivated me from page one and a refused to put it down until the end.

    When rules and laws in place that go against consenting adults destroy the lives of people. Grant worked hard for his doctorate as a Physical Therapist. He moved into a small town with his office and also the local high school hired him as their PT. He's always followed the rules and laws set up to protect the young. But when 19 year old Samantha comes into his office with a badly sprained ankle after going on her daily run, little does he suspect that she is still in high school. Because of her age he assumes she is in college. That is a piece of information that Sam neglects to inform him about.
    He's attracted to her at first sight as she is with him. He knows he can't ask her out as long as she is under his care so he asks her out for 5 weeks down the road. He knows there's something special about her. But this attraction is so strong between the two of them that they can't wait even though he knows he shouldn't take the option of treating her at his house to keep it off the books because he can't just let her go. And this is where it all starts.
    Sam and her parents moved into the small town after her father got out of the Army and it was too late for her to start Kindergarten. So this is what causes her to be a senior at 19 years old. She becomes best friends with the boy next door. She loves Hunter as her BFF and they are together throughout the school years from kindergarten through seniors in high school. But Sam never noticed some of the things that Hunter did to keep other guys away from her.
    When she starts her relationship with Grant little do they suspect of the nightmare that is Hunter that is going to come their way. Plus his paying the police's involvement of her violation by someone that was supposed to love her.
    Grant essentially gets railroaded by the police, and district attorney because Hunter just so happens to be the son of the mayor of the town. Plus the police department has it's dirty cops.
    Grant and Sam's lives go into a turmoil. He goes to prison, Sam finds out shortly afterwards that she is carrying his baby. He's living a nightmare, she feels abandoned because he's returning her letters. She finds out after she has the baby that Grant is not aware they have a child.
    She is estranged from her family, Grant has lost everything and once he's out has to register as a sex offender. There is so much more that happens in this book that I don't want to give away anymore. This book is a MUST READ. There are so many emotions that you'll go through with the characters. It's hard to put the book down.

This is the first book by this author I have read, but it won’t be the last the Cocky cage fighter series has just moved up to the top of my TBR pile.     Samantha Elliot’s life fell apart 10 months ago, her lover went to prison and other events unfolded that left her broken, she moved on and moved in with her best friend but life is still going on around her. The man she loves hasn’t contacted her so she surprises him when he is released and it sparks a chain of events that will alter both of their lives forever, in more ways that they can imagine.

    This was a beautiful standalone, not very long. I liked this story, the turn of events but above all I liked the characters.
    I totally recommend this book, moreover in this edition it is comprised Jax as well. It's the first book of a series. I think that reading these two books will make you love Lane Hart and you'll start reading all her works!
