- Reviewed in the United States on February 28, 2018Format: KindleVerified PurchaseI've wanted to know more about Enterrador for a long time, what made him the way he is and why of why does he have this obsession with Lilly? We know the truly evil monster that is Enterrador, but was he always this way? Or did something drive him to it? We get to meet him when he's young and his name is Adan, we also meet Alex, his sister's friend, they develop a friendship and each has feeling for the other. Will those feeling have a chance to bloom? YES... things are not easy for Adan, his mother is a piece of work and she has lied to him for years. Can these two survive the obstacles thrown at them to have a relationship? Your heart will break for Alex and the ultimate hell she endures, but you will be amazed at her strength and love for Adan. We see the struggles that Adan goes through during his youth, what kind of man did he become under his father; one that would have to pay a deadly price. I fell for him, I knew there was more than the monster we've come to know, a young man full of life, love and hope, one that got his true love and was beginning a family and future. Then we see why.... Can grief drive you insane and bring about such a vengeance, if you've read the Silent Sons, then you know the answer. What will Lilly future hold for her, seeing she looks exactly like his love. I know everyone is rooting for Gunner and her... But I secretly wish she could turn Enterrador back around, bring his humanity back. I guess time and Ms. Sabo will tell.
- Reviewed in the United States on June 5, 2019Format: KindleVerified PurchaseWow what a dark delicious romance novella. This story is part of the Silent Sons MC, and it is a very important part of the series. We get Adan's full story all the way from the past to the present. Adan and Alex's relationship was beautiful and his devotion to her will melt your heart. Alex is the light to his very dark, dark heart. It was really hard for me to understand how I found myself loving Adan after everything.
Again the author knows how to write a book full of all kinds of emotions. You will not be disappointed in the least. You will actually be left wanting more, but please be prepared for the emotional roller coaster ride you will have.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 23, 2018Format: KindleVerified PurchaseBefore he was a monster, he was just a boy who loved a girl. Before he was a villain, he was Alex's hero. Before he was hated and feared, he was loved and adored. Before he was Enterrador, he was Adan.
It is rare that we meet the anti-hero and get to hate him for several hundred pages, spanning two books filled with evil deeds only to then find out what molded him into the monster and fall in love with the hero before he was broken. It definitely adds a new dynamic to the series and makes me anxious to see how my feelings for him will fluctuate over the next book in the series. Will I still feel for the man who loved and lost and was broken as a result? Or will I hate the man who deals out pain like candy?
Time will tell.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 23, 2018Format: KindleVerified PurchaseAdan & Alex's story was beautiful, sweet, pure, tragic, heartbreaking, and unfortunately doomed from the start. Their love was a once in a lifetime kind of love, beginning when they were innocent kids & ending with Alex's untimely death just a few years into their marriage. Even before they were actually together, they secretly loved one another & only had eyes for each other. This is my first book by this author so I guess I need to go back & read her MC series to learn more about these characters. I would absolutely LOVE to see Alex found alive (her body was never found) so she & Adan's epic love story can continue (preferably before he sleeps with anyone else) & they can get the HEA they deserve.
- Reviewed in the United States on June 12, 2019Format: KindleVerified PurchaseEnterrador, man I hated this character and was sure when I read his story I would be steadfast in my dislike. I was wrong. How does an author make you feel bad, like really bad for a totally despicable character? I knew from the first chapter and even vocalized it "Oh, I sort of like him now!" This is the way you do a background on a sub character, that is becoming vital to the remaining books. This is how you make him real. This is how you make a man so hated, so understood. But still I had my reservations with his infatuation with Lily.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 22, 2018Format: KindleVerified PurchaseThe third book in the series, we learn more about the monster behind the sex trafficking in the previous books. The back story explains so much, almost makes you understand the dark turn he has took, ALMOST. A well written look into the darkness of the man that has become Enterrador. Love this book, this series. Looking forward to the next book in this series.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 30, 2018Format: KindleVerified PurchaseWow it is fascinating to read about what makes a monster. Adan and Alex shared a fairy tale love with horrendous endings. This story made me love Adan because of how his parents affected his decisions.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 23, 2018Format: PaperbackVerified PurchaseWhen I first heard Ambere say she was writing Enterrador’s story, I was a little skeptical. I really didn’t care about him or his story. I just knew I wouldn’t like it because he was not a character I needed a backstory on.
She proved me wrong with his story. She made me fall in love with the villain. The way Ambere weaves her words, I felt bad for him. I was *this close* to tears... over a villain!
If you haven’t read any of the Silent Sons series, I strongly recommend you read them before reading Enterrador. Then, sit back and bug Ambere for Lilly!

Enterrador is a novella in the Silent Sons MC Series (Book #2.5) by Ambere Sabo. This is the first book that I have read by Ms. Sabo, but I love a good MC story and was excited to have found a new series to read. But as I started the story, I began to wonder what had happened in the previous books because I thought they may have some relevance to this story. So, I closed this book for a while and went back to the beginning to read the series from the start- ‘Cessy’ Book #1 and ‘Havoc’ Book #2. And I am so glad I did. Even though you could read ‘Enterrador’ as a standalone, and technically it is a prequel to the series- I really enjoyed it more having read the other two books first.
This book centres around Adan Ortiz- the ruthless, brutal, and dangerous cartel boss- giving us an insight into what transpired to make him the way he is now. It is the making of a ruthless ‘monster’.
Because it is a novella, it is a very quick read. But oh, what a ride. It is intense, raw, gritty, emotional, savage and complex. It shows how life can sometimes throw unexpected, brutal and devastating curve balls. I was sucked into a dark, emotional whirlpool that pulsated with the pain of heartbreak- where the anger and ruthlessness was palpable.
If you love a powerful story, or everything MC- then this is definitely the story/series for you!
Thank you, Ms. Sabo!

Format: KindleVerified PurchaseAll I can say is I think the next book will bring me a lot of answers. I’m predicting Lilly is not who he thinks she is.
